Amphitheatre at Kourion

Located on the Akrotiri Peninsula in the south of Cyprus, just to the west of Limassol on the road to Paphos, is the ancient town of Kourion which has a Roman amphitheatre that was built at the end of the 2nd c. AD during the hellenistic period, and has a capacity of 3,500 spectators.
